A spiral notepad can be produced to an individual specification, combining the required format, paper, page layout and spiral type in one finished product. Spiral Binding
The printed sheets are perforated along one edge and assembled using either a metal or plastic spiral. The type and diameter of the spiral are selected according to the thickness and construction of the finished product. A metal spiral allows pages to turn through 360 degrees, so the notepad folds back on itself while in use. A plastic spiral opens to 180 degrees and may be reopened when sheets need to be added or removed.

Formats and Materials
Notepads are available in A3, A4, A5, A6 and A7 formats as well as custom dimensions. Paper stocks, board and speciality papers are selected according to the required construction and appearance. The cover may use a more substantial stock, while paper for the internal block is chosen with its intended use in mind. This allows the different parts of the product to be specified independently instead of relying on the same material throughout. The number of sheets is also determined individually according to the purpose and required format.
Personalisation and Finishing
A company logo, corporate graphics or an individual design may be applied to the cover. Internal pages may also carry branded layouts, structured sections or other content created specifically for the project. Depending on the specification, production may include digital or offset printing, lamination, embossing, die-cutting, rounded corners and perforation. These options make it possible to coordinate the appearance and construction of the complete notepad instead of limiting personalisation to branding on a standard stock product.
