Catalogues printing

A catalog is a collection of descriptions of a company’s products and services. Descriptions of the technical and consumer characteristics are very detailed and include color photographs, diagrams, specifications, drawings, and advertising samples.

When ordering and producing this type, you need to take into account that they, as a rule, are used for a long time. Our specialists will help you choose the paper, production method, types of post-print processing, taking into account the characteristics of a particular item. We print even an inexpensive publication so that the illustrations are bright, the diagrams and drawings are clear, and the binding are strong.

Types of printing

The digital printing and risography are usually used. For example, some of the pages of the internal block are able to be printed on a risograph, and the cover is printed offset or digitally.

Offset is the best option for producing large runs of color catalog. Recommended formats: A3, A4, A5, A6. Digital ensures high quality and efficiency when producing small and medium runs. Digital methods also include printing on a plotter, which allows you to achieve the best quality when producing diagrams, drawings, and maps. Recommended formats: A3, A4, A5, A6.

Risography - this technology is characterized by low price and efficiency, but production is possible only in one color.

Cost

Catalogs help the company orient potential customers. In this case, inexpensive paper is used to print; catalogs can be printed in one ink, with minimal post-print processing. They are inexpensive, produced in mass quantities, and printed urgently. Image/advertising goods are issued, among other things, to support the business reputation.

You may order the production according to the client’s ready-made layout. It is possible also to order turnkey production, including the creation of an original layout, selection of designer base, selection of the most effective post-press options for the publication. Keep in mind that the development of a publication usually requires the active participation of the customer.

You can make the order online, by phone, or place it in our office in Dubai. We accept orders for urgent printing with delivery of the finished edition in Moscow.

Materials

They are printed on any paper – spectacular designer, expensive coated, cheap offset paper. Text is better perceived on matte, and illustrations on glossy will look brighter and more impressive. It is available to use designer paper that imitates other materials, for example, textiles, leather.

PMG Design and Artwork Services offers a wide range of options for post-printing processing of printed goods. In the production, for example, foiling, die-cutting, including figured, lamination, UV varnishing, installation of piccolo rings are used; creasing can be used for large sheets. Our sales will recommend the necessary types of post-printing process that will help to make more impressive and user-friendly goods.

Binding

Considering that catalogs are usually designed for long-term use, we recommend the following methods for binding: Staples (clips) are the most common method of fastening and the most inexpensive.

This binding is suitable for things up to 60 pages with a paper weight of 100-200 g/m2. m. If there are fewer pages, it may be thicker. A metal or plastic spring is not cheap, but it is the most practical option. Suitable for all types, it provides sample opportunities for choosing the design and materials of the internal block and cover. The number of pages is not limited. Sewing and adhesive binding is suitable for soft-cover ones up to 350 sheets. The printing house carefully follows the technology so that the sheets will stay firmly in place.
