Material choice and fastening style
Choice of the material and fixing type Custom made id-cards can be made of different materials based on the customer preferences and financial capabilities.
- Cardboard and paper name badges are chosen as a low-cost option for conferences, exhibitions and other events. Serigraphy or UV printing is used followed by cutting, stamping or lamination.
- Plasticis used for name badges with a window to insert variable information. Logos are UV-printed, silk screened or laser engraved.
- Dye sublimation is used to get rich colours with UV-printing.
First of all, think of the fixing type, such as a pin, a magnet, a lanyard, or a clip. First of all, consider convenience as the basic factor. For instance, interfering with your movement, a long lanyard will be better for visitors, whereas pins will suit for daily wear.
