Choice of the material and fixing type
Custom made id-cards can be made of different materials based on the customer preferences and financial capabilities.
- Cardboard and paper name badges are chosen as a low-cost option for conferences, exhibitions and other events. Serigraphy or UV printing is used followed by cutting, stamping or lamination.
- Plasticis used for name badges with a window to insert variable information. Logos are UV-printed, silk screened or laser engraved.
- Dye sublimation is used to get rich colours with UV-printing.
First of all, think of the fixing type, such as a pin, a magnet, a lanyard, or a clip. Also consider convenience as the basic factor. For instance, interfering with your movement, a long lanyard will be better for visitors, whereas pins will suit for daily wear.

For ordering, decide in advance as to the size of the item, the arrangement of the elements, the material, the presence or absence of the variable data window, the fixing type, and other parameters. If this is your first experience, we recommend you to visit our office in Dubai and get some advice from our designer to finalise the parameters. If you have an artwork available, you can order your Id-cards by email.
