The Printing Features
The process of embossed business cards printing involves the stamping of elements onto the material with a die. Briefly, the main types of embossing include:
Foil stamping is the most popular way of post-printing to obtain a three-dimensional image. Gold, silver or bronze foil melts at a certain pressure and temperature leaving letters or an image on a surface. The relief on paper, plastic or other materials is deep and clear-cut.
Blind stamping can be used as an independent decoration or as a preliminary stage before applying paint or foil. Relief / hot stamping requires a special plate and a counter-mould to form a prominence on the other side.
